The Artsy Podcast

Identity, Digital, Motion

2025
I created the visual identity for The Artsy Podcast with a clear brief from Artsy: design something that stands out in an overcrowded podcast world without straying too far from the core Artsy brand.

The solution was rooted in what already made Artsy recognizable—its square logo. I used that geometry as the foundation for a strict grid-based system, building compositions that radiate outward from the square in a subtle nod to sound waves. Rather than introducing new visual tropes, the identity amplifies the existing brand structure and injects it with motion and rhythm.

Typography does most of the expressive work. Bold shifts in type size, all locked to the grid, create sharp contrast and hierarchy while reinforcing the square framework. The result is a confident, minimal identity that feels unmistakably Artsy—yet dynamic enough to compete in a crowded podcast landscape.
