In 2024, Artsy launched The Artsy Edition Shop, an online storefront offering editioned works from top galleries like Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, David Zwirner, and Perrotin at more accessible price points. The brief called for a visual identity that balanced exclusivity with approachability, targeting new collectors while maintaining the integrity of blue-chip gallery partnerships. I centered the design system on the dash glyph, commonly found in edition signatures, using it as a core graphic element. Using motion design to show a simple transition from vertical to diagonal highlighted the formal importance of the dash while also playing with the idea of disrupting the art market.
